British superstar Robbie Williams has announced a show in Greece for October 2, 2025 at the emblematic Panathenaic Stadium in Athens.
The internationally-acclaimed singer will perform as part of the popular EJECT Music Festival held in Athens, which hosts renowned artists of the music scene each year. This will be the third time Robbie Williams will be appearing live in Greece.
EJECT organizers announced the concert on social media on Friday. It will be part of William’s “Live 2025” tour. Ticket pre-sales begin on Monday, December 23rd at noon.
The last time the popular singer performed in Greece was on July 1, 2023 at the Rockwave Festival that takes place at a forested site near the village of Malakasa in East Attica. The Rockwave Festival of 2015 was also the first time the British star appeared in a live performance in the country.
Robbie Williams and Take That
Williams (born February 13, 1974) rose to fame as a member of the pop group Take That. They were formed in Manchester, England in 1989, and they enjoyed a successful career. However, Williams left the band in the summer of 1995 and started off on a solo career as a singer-songwriter a year later.
Ever since, he has been hugely successful, releasing numerous chart-topping albums and singles and appearing at sold-out shows worldwide. According to Williams, he counts Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, and Frank Sinatra among his influences, as well as some of his contemporaries, including Blur, Oasis, and Pulp of the 1990s.
Known for his charismatic stage presence and diverse musical style, Williams has become one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
In the Guinness Book of World Records
Indicative of his phenomenal success, by 2008, Robbie Williams had sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist in history. He has sold over 77 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Williams appeared in The Guinness Book of World Records when, in a single day, 1.6 million tickets were sold for his Close Encounters World Tour of 2006.
His discography includes seven UK No. 1 singles, and all but one of his fourteen studio albums have made it to the top spot in the UK. Six of his albums are among the top 100 best-selling albums in the UK, with two of them in the top 60.
The British popstar celebrates his life in his biographical movie Better Man, which was released recently, and he will follow this up with his “Live 2025” tour, making a stop in Athens, Greece on October 2, 2025.
