US Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle has announced an upcoming visit by the American President to Greece. Speaking to reporters shortly before the premiere of a documentary centered on Melania Trump, Guilfoyle confirmed that the President is expected to visit the country soon.
“I hope she [Melania] comes. I know the President is coming, and I am truly looking forward to both of them visiting Greece. It will be an incredible honor for the country,” Guilfoyle stated.
Earlier, the Ambassador praised Melania Trump’s character and contributions, describing her as “the most transformative First Lady” in US history. “Melania Trump is a dear friend, an incredible mother, a great wife, and a truly brilliant First Lady,” she said, highlighting her dedication to women and children.
The “most successful documentary premiere”
Regarding the film, Guilfoyle noted its commercial success, claiming it is the most successful documentary premiere of the last decade. She concluded by thanking the organizers and President Donald J. Trump for his support of the project and his role in appointing her as the first female US Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic.
Directed by Brett Ratner, the documentary Melania has become a major cultural flashpoint in the United States, defined by a massive “love it or hate it” divide.
While mainstream outlets have criticized its slow pace and perceived lack of transparency, the film currently boasts an exceptionally high audience score on platforms like Rotten Tomatoes, as fans celebrate what they see as a patriotic and intimate portrait of the First Lady’s return to the White House.
