The royal wedding
Princess Iman and Greek husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis exchanged wedding vows in a fairytale-like ceremony at the Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman om March 12, 2023.
The happy bride arrived accompanied by her brother, Crown Prince Hussein, wearing a Dior wedding gown. Specifically, the dress consisted of a long-sleeved bodice with a lace-covered square neckline and a figure-hugging A-line skirt. Her veil was straight out of a fairy tale, as was her Chaumet tiara, which is said to have belonged to her grandmother, Princess Muna al-Hussein.
At the ceremony site, her family awaited the exchange of vows and rings with Rania and Abdullah looking proudly at their daughter. The Queen of Jordan, who could not hide her emotion, also chose a creation by the Dior house from the same collection. In particular, her dress had pleats from top to bottom, while the characteristic Victorian neckline stood out, giving even more elegance to the result.
The reception after the ceremony began with the cutting of the enormous cake, with the couple cutting it with a sword. “Iman, I hope this next chapter in your life brings you as much joy, love and laughter as you have brought us over the years. Congratulations to the bride and groom,” Queen Rania wrote in her post.
