Giannis Antetokounmpo is expanding his reach beyond basketball as he introduces a new gummy candy line with the launch of “Giannis FR34K Gummies,” created in partnership with Candy Funhouse.

The launch highlights his long-standing interest in sweets, and it is the first time Giannis Antetokounmpo has attached his name to a consumer candy product.

The gummy candy line arrives in three flavors: tropical, strawberry lemonade, and mixed berry, and comes in shapes inspired by basketball culture and the Candy Funhouse brand.

Giannis Antetokounmpo turns his love for sweets into a gummy candy brand

Antetokounmpo said he has always enjoyed candy, even while maintaining the discipline needed for an NBA career. He explained that the structure of daily training can wear on any athlete and that small treats help him find balance.

He said he eats candy only on select days during the month to stay in top condition. Those moments now often involve his two oldest children, which he described as a way to pause, reconnect with family, and ease the pressure that comes with playing at the highest level.

This season carried extra strain. A calf injury reduced his early availability, although his performance remained among the league’s strongest with averages that closely mirror last year. Persistent trade speculation also followed him until the league deadline passed.

He stayed in Milwaukee and turned his attention to his off-court projects, including shaping every part of the gummy line from branding to flavors. Some of the creative choices draw from his childhood in Athens and the candy he grew up eating.

Candy Funhouse saw Antetokounmpo as the right partner

Candy Funhouse Chief Marketing Officer Dave Theodoropoulos said the new product reflects Antetokounmpo’s personality, describing him as intentional and genuinely involved in the development process.

The partnership is rooted in Antetokounmpo’s 2023 investment in the Canadian family-owned distributor, which operates a large online catalog of sweets.

He made the investment through the family office he manages with his brothers, noting that this structure allows him to pursue opportunities that interest him while focusing on basketball. He said that having a team handle the financial responsibilities protects both his time and his brand.

Giannis FR34K Gummies are now available online through Candy Fun Street and through GoPuff in select cities.
