Greek Artist Klavdia Reaches New York’s Times Square

The Greek artist Klavdia has once again broken through boundaries with her music, appearing in New York’s iconic Times Square as the representative for Greece in Spotify’s global “Equal” campaign.

Spotify selected Klavdia as Greece’s ambassador for the campaign, featuring her song “Syntrimmia” (Shattered Pieces), which is included in her successful album, Asteromata (Starry-Eyed).

The album, released by Arcade Music and Panik Records, has already achieved Gold status, accumulating over 55 million streams.

International recognition

As part of the Equal initiative, which aims to highlight and empower women on the international music scene, Klavdia’s photograph was displayed on a massive billboard banner in Times Square and she is featured on the cover of the “Equal Greece” playlist.

Klavdia and her song “Syntrimmia” were also included in the prestigious “Equal Global” playlist, alongside female artists from over 40 countries.

This particular distinction is a major milestone for the artist. Following her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, Klavdia has established herself as one of the most unique and influential voices of her generation, successfully winning over international audiences.

Klavdia’s career highlights and plans

Beyond her successful solo records and tours, Klavdia has collaborated with significant artists, including appearing in concerts with Dionysis Savvopoulos. She has also performed at historic Greek venues, including the Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Herodion), alongside Stamatis Kraounakis and in the “Aristophanea” by Christos Leontis.

She also apperead at the Kallimarmaro Stadium (Panathenaic Stadium), in a tribute to Stelios Kazantzidis. Her career also includes the international collaboration, “Back To Blue,” with Edward Maya and Valentino Indy.

Klavdia is currently preparing to once again captivate audiences outside of Greece. She will be accompanying Konstantinos Argiros on his tour of Australia and the U.S., with stops at world-class venues including the Sydney Opera House and the Barclays Center in New York.

Furthermore, on December 4th, she will return to the global spotlight by performing at the Olympic Flame Handover Ceremony at the Kallimarmaro Stadium in Athens.
