Greek American’s job at the White House

The White House Visitors Office Director plays a pivotal role in shaping how the public interacts with the White House. By creating a welcoming and educational experience, the director helps foster a deeper connection between the American people and the presidency while showcasing the cultural and historical significance of the White House.

With her prior experience in the first Trump Administration as White House Public Liaison Office Director of Operations, Veletsis brings a commitment to accessibility, hospitality, and the rich history of the White House. Under her leadership, the Visitors Office will continue to enhance the visitor experience and foster a deeper connection between the American people and their government.

“I congratulate Alexandra on her well-deserved appointment as White House Visitors Office Director,” AHI President Nick Larigakis said.

“Her leadership and dedication will undoubtedly enhance the visitor experience, fostering greater engagement with our nation’s history and government. We beam with pride when our Foreign Policy alumni make great strides in their careers, and Alexandra has done just that.”

AHI is a leading policy center and think tank that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.

With its advocacy, newsletters, conferences, seminars, and publications, it serves as a resource to policymakers, stakeholders, and its network of supporters by providing them with the information necessary to effectively implement foreign policy.
