The Antetokounmpo family is investing in prime real estate in Athens following the announcement that together with Premia Properties has acquired the popular Village Shopping & More shopping center in Rentis for 14.1 million euros.
The announcement states that the upgrade of the shopping center will begin immediately with the aim of creating a model sports and entertainment center.
The Property has a gross building area of 49.000 sq.m. on a land plot of 36.000 sq.m. and currently operates as an entertainment park with anchor tenant the “Village Cinema”.
This business decision by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Elias Georgiadis has as key goal to upgrade the well-known complex and create an exemplary sports and entertainment center and a meeting point for families with children and a younger crowd. The property remains in good condition but will be upgraded shortly.

Antetokounmpo’s business and real estate investments in Greece
Last month Giannis Antetokounmpo announced the production of his first scripted feature movie on Mykonos in Greece under his Improbable Media production company.
The Bucks star posted on social media about the new film called Mykonos: “Guys you know how much I love Mykonos,” the Greek Freak wrote.
“I am very excited to officially announce my production company @improbablemedia has partnered with @studiogalazio to produce my first feature film as a producer. MYKONOS, the movie, written and directed by Christopher Andre Marks, is coming soon…,” the Greek Freak announced.
Last year it emerged that Giannis Antetokounmpo bought a massive new home for the whole family, including his mother and brothers, in the leafy suburb of Psychiko in Athens.
The Greek Freak is said to have bought the futuristic apartment building for an estimated 10 million euros ($11 million), according to a report in Proto Thema.
In 2022 Giannis invested together with his brother, Thanasis on two Costa Navarino Residences, an exclusive resort on the southwest side of Peloponnese.
As he said in the official blog of the resort: “There’s so much to do here, and it’s a safe environment. When you get here, you know there will be people around, but it’s good that my kids can grow up in a safe environment, go to the beach, ride their bicycles or play on the waterslides, all without me worrying too much. I’m also thinking 10 to 15 years into the future when they’ll be older”.
