Swift’s fortune grew rapidly in October, mainly because of her successful Eras Tour and recent albums. According to Bloomberg, Swift is one of few artists to earn this much money from music alone.
Swift started off The Eras Tour in Arizona in March 2023. She toured across the US in the summer and finished the first part of the tour in August in Los Angeles.
In February, she took the tour to international locations and plans to end her performances in December, returning to the US at that time. Forbes reported that the tour could earn $1.5 billion, depending on ticket prices.

He explained that while many musicians have lost money as album sales shifted to digital downloads, Swift has successfully adapted, using technology to her advantage instead of being left behind.

Dr. Sonja Stribling, a retired US Army Major and author of the upcoming book From the Battlefield to the Boardroom, noted that Taylor Swift has essentially transformed the music industry for female artists.
Stribling emphasized that Taylor Swift’s impact goes beyond her financial success. Speaking to FOX Business, Stribling said, “It is not just the money she is making, which is very important, but she is creating a pathway for other people to follow.”
