Moreover, this budget-friendly Apple Pencil complements the existing lineup of Apple Pencils, including the second generation and first generation models.

The design incorporates the sleek matte finish found in the second generation Apple Pencil, making it not only cost-effective but also stylish and comfortable to use, according to Apple.

When used in conjunction with the versatile iPad, the new Apple Pencil provides an excellent way to explore the wonders of digital handwriting, annotating documents, marking up content, and much more, Borchers further explained.

Apple claims that the new Apple Pencil is the most budget-friendly model, making it perfect for everyday tasks related to productivity and creativity.

Moreover, Apple further explained the pencil’s USB-C charging and pairing capabilities make it a better choice for users of the iPad (10th generation), and it’s also compatible with all iPad models featuring a USB-C port, such as the iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini.

Difference between Apple Pencil 1st generation and 2nd generation

The first generation Apple Pencil offers support for pressure sensitivity, providing a remarkably smooth and natural drawing experience.

This version of the Apple Pencil is compatible with the ninth and tenth generation iPads. Moreover, the lightning port in the first generation Apple Pencil makes it convenient to quickly connect the pencil for pairing and charging, reported Apple.

On the other hand, the second generation Apple Pencil takes professional workflows to the next level by offering support for pressure sensitivity, the double-tap gesture, and hover functionality on iPad Pro models with M2 chips.

Moreover, the Apple Pencil is compatible with iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini models. This Apple Pencil features a matte finish and flat side, allowing for convenient magnetic pairing and charging, according to Apple.
