Τα Actor Awards του σωματείου SAG-AFTRA πραγματοποιήθηκαν την Κυριακή 1 Μαρτίου, λίγες ημέρες πριν από τα βραβεία Όσκαρ, με παρουσιάστρια την Κρίστεν Μπελ και μεταδόθηκαν ζωντανά μέσω του Netflix.
Ήταν μία λαμπερή βραδιά στην οποία η ταινία «Sinners» κυριάρχησε και αναδείχτηκε μεγάλος νικητής, αποσπώντας το κορυφαίο βραβείο Καλύτερου Καστ σε Ταινία, καθώς και το Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου για τον Μάικλ Μπι Τζόρνταν.
Ανάμεσα στα πρόσωπα που ξεχώρισαν ήταν και η Τζέσι Μπάκλεϊ, η οποία τιμήθηκε με το βραβείο Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου για το «Hamnet», αλλά και ο Σον Πεν, ο οποίος κέρδισε το βραβείο Β’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου για το «One Battle After Another».
